In 1977 Johan Kikstra was born on an arable farm in the Wieringermeer, a polder in The Netherlands. He grew up with a healthy farmer mentality, obtained his high school diploma and then left for Wageningen to obtain his master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering at Wageningen Univeristy.
Omnivent Techniek B.V. and APH Group
With the ink fresh on his diploma, Kikstra started in 2001 as an Export Manager at Omnivent Techniek B.V., the market leader in storage technology for agricultural products. In 2007, a new challenge came on his path: APH Group. An internationally renowned export company of agricultural machines, where Kikstra held several management and board positions in 12.5 years.
Interim for agricultural and technical companies
These experiences have prepared Kikstra for the start of his own company KICK Interim & Development. From 2020, Johan Kikstra with his extensive knowledge, commercial talent and large (international) network will be available as an interim to give companies in the agricultural or technical sector the boost they are looking for.
